How does Abendanalyse use AI and automation?
Abendanalyse may employ AI-based tools for research, drafting, editing, formatting, translation, metadata, headline suggestions, summaries and transcription. Every piece of published editorial content is reviewed and approved by a human editor before it goes live.
These tools are never allowed to fabricate quotes, sources, interviews, bylines, author experience or expert profiles. AI assistance is always secondary to the judgement of our named writers and editors. The editorial mission at Abendanalyse Media Ltd. remains rooted in human accountability: every article you read has been drafted, checked and signed off by a person on our team.
Our fact‑checking policy applies to all content, regardless of whether AI tools were used during the research or drafting stage.
How this works in practice
Consider a typical article about Swedish household finances. A reporter might use an AI tool to quickly summarise a 50‑page Riksbank report written in Swedish, translating key points into English. The reporter then reads the original report, verifies the summary, and writes the story. An editor reviews the final draft, and the fact‑checking team confirms all figures with primary sources. At no point does the AI replace the reporter’s own analysis or the editor’s approval.
Another example: an AI might generate several headline options for a piece on kommunpolitik. The Politikredaktör, Christian Martin, selects the most accurate and fair one, and the Redaktionschef, Julia Winkler, gives the final go‑ahead. In every case, human judgement is the last step before publication.
What is strictly prohibited?
Abendanalyse Media Ltd. absolutely prohibits the use of AI to generate or impersonate bylines, source interviews, quotations, or any element that could mislead readers about the origin of information. No content may be published without human editorial review. Automated tools must never produce false attributions or fabricated data.
Our editorial policy sets out the transparency standards that apply to all material. Any sponsored or commercial content that uses AI assistance is labelled accordingly, and affiliate links are always disclosed in line with our advertising and affiliate disclosure policy.
