Our mission is to deliver clear, practical coverage of Swedish news, politics, economics, culture, society and current affairs for readers in Sweden and internationally. We are owned and operated by Abendanalyse Media Ltd., a private company registered in Gibraltar (company number C 92009, Malta Business Registry) with its registered office at Office 9, Business Centre, Valletta, 0000. How do you work?
Every article is drafted by a named writer, reviewed by an editor, and fact-checked by our dedicated fact-checking team before it goes live. We never publish anonymous pieces unless exceptional circumstances require it, and even then the editorial chain is documented. AI-assisted tools may support research, editing, formatting, translation, metadata, headline options, summaries and transcription, but they never replace human editorial judgement. How this works in practice
Let us walk you through a concrete example. Suppose we publish an article on Sweden’s new budget proposal. First, our Politikredaktör Christian Martin assigns the story to a named writer. The writer drafts the piece, interviews sources at the finance ministry and independent economists, and submits it. Our Redaktionschef Julia Winkler reviews the headline, structure and tone. Anna Schulz’s fact-checking team verifies every key claim—for instance, checking the exact figure allocated to defence spending against the official budget document. If any figure is uncertain, the writer revises before publication. After publication, if a reader or another newsroom spots an error, we issue a correction under the supervision of Matthias Kaiser, Chefredaktör, and update the article with a clear note. This process happens for every piece, from a 300-word news brief to a 2,000-word investigation. No exceptions.

Abendanalyse is owned and operated by Abendanalyse Media Ltd., a private company registered in Gibraltar (company number C 92009, Malta Business Registry) with its registered office at Office 9, Business Centre, Valletta, 0000. Our main phone is +356 2138 9009; our Swedish editorial line is +49 30 577 013 49. Despite the Gibraltar registration, our editorial focus is entirely Swedish news and our editorial team operates from Sweden. We are funded through display advertising, affiliate links, commercial partnerships, sponsored content, newsletter sponsorships and content licensing. Every sponsored or commercial piece is clearly labelled, and all affiliate links are disclosed. Commercial relationships never determine editorial conclusions.
